Hi {{ subscriber.first_name }},

I’m organizing something new — and very practical — for March.

Last winter I went to Los Algodones, Mexico to get a bunch of dental work done.

I’d been putting things off because: dentists 🤨, Bay Area prices 💸 & general reluctance to do dental work🙀. I was both intimidated & enticed by the option of going ‘over seas’ for dental work. But I didn’t know if I could trust the dentists, I was worried about the process of crossing the border, language issues, where to stay, what would I eat & safety at every juncture. I wasn’t sure the trip cost & uncertainty would balance out the savings.

Finally I got up my nerve, made a plan & found a friend to go along. It ended up being an amazing experience that I have wanted to share with everyone I meet. I had a great experience, got really good dental care & had quite a lot of fun!

What I found was:

  • Dental offices are clean, modern & high-tech

  • Care was transparent & refreshingly straightforward

  • Prices are typically 50% less than in the U.S.

  • You pay in U.S. dollars (with cash discounts!)

  • The town is small, friendly & totally walk-able

  • Great, affordable food & entertainment

  • Wonderful local crafts — rugs, blankets, jewelry, ceramics

  • The opportunity to shop at local pharmacies, visit a med spa & warm up in the desert while getting needed dental work done

I left thinking:
“I wish more of my people had someone to guide them through this so they can have a stress-free dental journey.”

So… I’m putting together a small, supportive group trip (5–8 people) from the Bay Area to Los Algodones this March, & you’re invited.

❤️ What This Trip Is

A warm, grounded, community-oriented way to get dental work done affordably — with support every step of the way.

I’ll help with:

  • Choosing from two vetted dentists (one premium, one more budget-friendly)

  • Understanding treatment plans & what questions to ask

  • Hotel, restaurant, pharmacy, massage, med spa, and shopping recommendations

  • Daily check-ins + gentle nervous system support

  • A guided walk through the shopping district

  • A pre-trip Zoom call so you feel ready and calm

You choose your own dentist and pay clinics directly.

🚐 How We Travel

We leave the Bay Area Sunday morning and return Saturday.
We’ll travel together in a group van.

We may either:

  • Drive straight through and arrive Sunday night or

  • Stay at El Morocco Inn Sunday night and arrive in Mexico Monday midday

Either way, initial dental visits happen Monday.

Los Algodones is tiny and walkable — everything (dentists, hotels, food, shops) is within a few minutes on foot.
